My favorite smoky eye begins & ends with Club. First I apply a very light layer lid to brow, then Carbon on the lid & crease, a slightly shimmery beige on the brow bone, then Club applied heavily on the lid & crease. Line with Carbon, wet, upper & lower lash line.

LIPS: Bronze CCB all over, Fabulush CCB in centers. Hush to highlight cupids bow & bottom lower lip. (fingers used)FACE: random foundation, translucent powder with 187, buffed out with kabuki brush. Bronze CCB & Dusk CCB with 187 on cheeks, forehead, nose, chin. Hush to highlight, massaged in with fingers.

EYES: Hush with 242. Gesso with 242. Club & Print in crease, defined with my contour brush. Hush & MAC gloss under brow. Carbon & Fix+ to line.

I use Club as the \"smoke\" (I have green eyes), Paradisco lightly crease to brow, Nocturnelle outer >, Vellum inner corner, & Cranberry that I\'ll touch next to the outer >. Then I blend, blend, blend. It is a strange, yet quite interesting \"smoky\" look.

Club on the lid, Vex to highlight, & Humid to line. You could also do Humid in the crease with this look. W/either of these 2, I do Tarnish on the inner rim. Or, Humid on the lid, Club in the crease, Vex to highlight, & Tarnish e/k to line whole eye & inner rim.

Aquadisiac, Club & Seedy Pearl.

Eyes: Pearl CCB, Goldbit all over, Olive Groove in the crease, Club as a liner w/ Teddy. Stripdown liner, Tantress l/s & Soft Sun l/g.

Bare Canvas Paint as a primer. Use Vex eye shadow with a damp brush to create a pretty iridescent wash. Follow with Club eye shadow in the outer corner. Layer for intensity. Using a stiff, angled brush, line with Sketch eye shadow. Use Shroom eye shadow to highlight.

Vellum as a wash, Vex on the lid, Patina in crease outer corner & lined with Club or Stroke of Midnight.

Amber Lights all over lid with Golden Olive pigment in the crease(inner half) & Greensmoke in the outer half of crease lined with Club.

Chartru paint on the lid, Humid over the Chartru, Club in the crease, highlight w/ Stilife w/ Vex over that, line eyes w/ a dark blue (the blue brings out the jewel tones in the green).

Shroom as all-over base color, the bronze of Texture on her lid & the metallic moss of Club. Tarnish to line. Strip Down, Frolic & Varneesh. Melba Blush. First, apply a pale silver/beige shadow all over the entire lid as a base coat. (This color can also be used to highlight the top of the cheekbone, just under the eye.) Then, working with a warm bronze shadow, use a blending brush to sweep the color across the eyelid & up into the crease. Start the color lightly & build the intensity slowly. Using a black eye gloss, Nadine used a brush to gently push this color into the lid. Keep the color more concentrated & wet looking toward the lash line & a bit more subtle & sheer toward the crease. To set the gloss & add a little sizzle to the look, Nadine pressed a shimmering metallic green shadow over the gloss & used a liner brush to also press this color into the lower lash line. It’s important to press the color & not sweep it. If you sweep you’ll end up with a lot of shadow fallout. With a green/black eyeliner pencil line the inside of both the top & bottom lashes. Go back over the bottom lashes running the pencil along the outer edge. Make sure to blend & slightly smudge this color. According to Nadine, \"The key to a smoky look is all in the blending. There should be no hard lines, thus the name ‘smoky’!\"

She recreated the look on me but used Vanilla e/s as a base on me (since I am lighter, NC20) It was very striking, but use Mythology sparingly & blend well. I think Cranberry, Patina, & Bronze (looks GREAT w/Shroom) would be really pretty.

Amber Lights: Looks wonderful worn as a lid color with Cranberry in the crease for \"sunset\" eyes or Mulch for warm \"exotic\" sultry eyes.

Retrospeck is hugely versatile. It\'s easily become one of my very favorite shadows. What else do you have? One of my favorite combinations is Greensmoke on the lids with Retrospeck in the creases & inner 1/2 of the lid, with Tarnish as the liner. I also like Retrospeck with Cranberry eye shadow (not many people can wear Cranberry but I love it!) or as a crease color with Jest all over the lid & Tilt in the outer thirds with black or Violet liner, Seedy pearl as highlighter, Sweet Lust on lids, Retrospeck in crease.

Try taking the Cranberry all the way up & just above the crease & highlight with a light pink or Phloof!, blend Cranberry with it so that it just fades up.

Vex: The only way I like this color is to use it as a wash over the eye, Patina on the lid, Cranberry in the crease.

Brown CCB. Sketch in your brow, Hush all over the lid & as a highlighter, Mulch on your lid, Cranberry on your lid & as a liner. Smolder & Prunella liners. Factory Cheekhue, Pink Glaze Lipstick & Prr, don’t use a lip liner. You want your lips to look very soft & not too done.

Too Faced Base, Paradisco from lash line to creas, Cranberry to contour outer lid, black liner with Cranberry over it, Vanilla Pigment on brow bone & inner corner.

Cranberry on the inner half of the lid, CocoBeach in the crease & outer half of the lid.

Canton Candy Paint, Crème De Violet on inner corner, Parfait Amour on outer corner & crease, a little bit of Cranberry in crease, Phloof! to highlight, Lilacky for liner along with Tealo in inner rim of eye & outer corners of eye.

Working with a stiff bristle shading brush, apply a reddish-brown cream eye shadow to the lid starting at the lash line & blending up into the crease. Press Bronze over the cream color to set it. To brighten the eye apply Cranberry over the Bronze. (The brown will help to anchor the brightness of the Cranberry.) Carry the Cranberry color up & above the mid-crease point. Then press this color into the lower lash line with an angled liner brush. Make this line thinner at the inner corner of the eye, thicker toward the outer edge. Line the inside of the lower lash line with a plumy brown eyeliner pencil. Go over this line with the same Bronze you used on your lid. This will blend the pencil & create a smoky look. Then apply a little more of the bronze powder to the outer corner of eyelid & blend well. Highlight the eye with the original peach lid color by dusting a small amount on the inner corner of the eyelid & the inner half of the bottom lash line. As a final touch, line the outer half of your bottom lashes with a black eyeliner & softly smudge the color. On the outer half of the upper lash line, draw a moderately thick line with the black pencil & use a shading brush to blend this color up & out for a hazy, \"bad girl\" effect. To apply false eyelashes, cut the strips to the exact length of your eye. Apply a small amount of glue & use your fingers to press the strip into your lashes. Wait for the glue to drythen go over the lash line with a black eye shadow to blend the lashes & create a little more drama.

Satin Taupe+Cranberry.

Goldmine with Greensmoke or Cranberry in the crease.

Go over this line with the Bronze.This will blend the pencil & create a smoky look. Then apply a little more of the bronze powder to the outer corner of eyelid & blend well. Ricepaper on brow bone.

As a final touch, line the outer half of your bottom lashes with a black eyeliner & softly smudge the color. On the outer half of the upper lash line, draw a moderately thick line with the black pencil & use a shading brush to blend this color up & out for a hazy, \"bad girl\" effect.

Gleam looks hot with Cranberry.

For a great smoky/teal look, begin w/ a base of Sea Me Shadestick. Apply from lash to crease & blend w/ brush #252. Tap Teal Pigment on top using the same brush. Using brush #224, sweep Electric Eel through the entire crease. Deepen the crease & outer corners of your eyes w/ Plumage. Highlight the inner corner of the eye & under the brow w/ Vanilla Pigment. Line the upper & lower lash lines w/ Smolder Eye Kohl. Apply some of the Teal Pigment under your lower lashes using # 219 Brush. This will make your look more smoky. Too many steps? Just use Black Tied & Shimmermoss w/ Crystal Avalanche on the inner corner of the eye.

Shroom as a highlighter. Then, he used Stilife Paint all over my eyelids. After that, he applied Haux in the lower part of my crease w/ Sable on the upper (brow bone) part of the crease. He lined my full eye w/ Teddy. Harmony blush on the lower part of my cheeks. He did it in a diagonal line from my ears down. Pinch 0\' peach on the apples of my cheeks.

Gleam as wash, Sable to contour, Chocolate Brown Pigment smoked out.

I\'m in the habit of doing a reverse shadow on the eyes…normally I would take Amber Lights lash line to brow well blended & then in the inner corner draw a straight line (w/ Trax for example)from the inner point of the eye to the brow & blend outwards…it creates this smoky contoured intense look…it really defines the eyes & if you use subtle colors-its a nice effect too.

Discrete as a wash, Crystal on the lid, Trax in the crease.

Wash of Yogurt, Pink Freeze on the inner half of the top lash line & then use Melton Mauve on the outer half, Trax in the crease. Mix Pink Freeze & Melton Mauve & line the lower lashes w/ this. Bodeauxline to line.
