How to get the “yesterday’s makeup” look?

Question by Annie: How to get the “yesterday’s cosmetics” look?
I’ve been watching the show Skins on the BBC and I really like the cosmetics on the girls. I was wondering how to get the look. Their cosmetics is very grungy and looks like they’re only wearing yesterday’s cosmetics. Any tips?

when you do eyeliner around your eyes, smudge it with a SMUDGER STICK and if you want it more harsh and grundgier then put more eyeliner and dark eyeshadow around your eyes then smudge it lots with a smudger.
